Alaska Scrap & Recycling is now in Kodiak!
(Formerly Nick’s Auto Wrecking Salvage & Metal Recycling) Alaska Scrap & Recycling (ASR) now operates a full service metal recycling location on Kodiak.
Located at 346 Sargent Creek Road, ASR retains the same local staff that has been providing service.
Please bear with us as we process materials in the yard to make it more assessable. Our intent is to provide a yard that allows residents to repurposes scrap metal and locate car parts that might otherwise be unavailable locally.
Hours
Monday thru Friday 9am 4 pm and the occasional Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Saturday hours will be posted at the scale house each month.

Rates & Acceptance
Disposal rate is $ .20 per pound due at the time of disposal. Cash or check only.
Passenger cars and trucks are accepted for $450 per vehicle
Anything over 10,000 lbs. or more please call in advance for pricing
Scrap vehicle towing available, subject to availability, call office to schedule
White goods disposal available at disposal rate plus $45 for freon removal
